Marin Hills in the Fall

This photoshoot location sits atop a hillside in Novato in North Marin and delivers that classic California open-space vibe. From wide, rolling hills to clusters of mature trees to interesting rock formations, it packs a punch in a short amount of space.

One of the best things about this location is how consistently beautiful it is throughout the year. You’ll find grasses and natural textures in every season, with short brown in the fall, to long and gold in the summer and green (with some occasional wildflowers if you are lucky!) in the spring.

This photoshoot location is ideal for simple sessions, signature family and maternity shoots, and smaller extended family groups (under 10 people).
