San Francisco Photoshoot Location: Presidio Lawn
San Francisco has lots of iconic places, from the Golden Gate Bridge, to the skyline to the foggy beach. If you are a parent, however, the places you go most are the incredible parks of San Francisco. There’s nothing quite like grabbing a burrito and heading to Dolores Park to sit on the lawn or watch your kids play on the playground. One of the newest and most incredible parks in San Francisco is in the Presidio. The tunnel tops park is truly incredible for kids, tourists and families alike. While playground family photography is not my jam, the surrounding area of the tunnel tops of San Francisco, is one of the most beautiful and versatile photoshoot locations in San Francisco.
From the beautiful brick buildings across from the Presidio lawn, to the meandering paths above the tunnel tops, to the bridges below the park where you might even catch a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge on a clear day, it’s all within easy walking distance. Bonus points, parking is plentiful and easy peasy, which is a must when you are trying to get to your family photoshoot on time and can sometimes be impossible to find quickly in San Francisco.
This location is best for families of 6 people or less and sessions here happen in the afternoon hours and at sunset.
