Seasonal outdoor Bay area Mini Sessions
Outdoor mini sessions are here! This fall, in San Francisco and Marin, I’ll be having short and sweet 20 minute outdoor mini sessions. These are the perfect way to get updated family photos for families who are looking for a handful of images for a holiday card, or as a yearly update. Read below for who mini sessions are best for, pricing and scheduling details!
All about mini sessions
The most successful mini sessions are with families who have kids who are very quick to warm up to (very friendly!) strangers and great at following age appropriate instructions. I would recommend minis to anyone whose youngest kiddo is 8 years old or older, as we can typically get great photos quickly.
If you are looking at a mini session because you have kids that are high energy and you don’t think will last, I would actually recommend a longer session. High energy and active kids (toddlers, I’m looking at you!) typically need lots of engagement, games and breaks from photo taking to get those traditional photos in all of the combinations you want. Slow to warm kids also need more time than 20 minutes to get photos full of joy that show their true personalities.
If you are hoping for “just one good family photo”, but your family fits any of the descriptions in the paragraph above, I will tell you that perfect photo often takes a whole session of fun, engagement and redirection to get!
If you have a newborn, have a family over 6 people, or have grandparents or other extended family members, please book a signature 1 hr session.
is your family right for a mini session?
To keep mini sessions affordable for everyone, they are at set locations and scheduled back to back. My Bay Area mini sessions this year are at seriously stunning locations, that are easy to get to and have plenty of parking. In San Francisco there is Lover's Lane, the Presidio Lawn, and the Presidio. In Marin there is the Eucalyptus Forest, the Woods and Bridge, Lucas Valley Forest or Eucalyptus Grove Cavallo.

Mini Session Locations
Mini sessions are $550 and 20 minutes long. They come with 5 digital, high resolution images, but you can add the whole gallery of 25+ photos for an additional $99 at checkout.
Pricing and Timing
MINI SESSIONS WILL BE RELEASED AND READY TO BE SCHEDULED BELOW FOR THE PUBLIC ON AUGUST 3rd. THEY WILL BE RELEASED TO THE NEWSLETTER ON JULY 29th.
